Seriously, just don't look down the Hole

I took Tom to see a new 'teen horror' film today (well, he is nearly 12) called 'The Hole 3D'. As you can probably guess, it was free, and offered from my favourite internet site seefilmfirst - who have renamed themselves showfilmfirst.

I guess I should have realised what it was going to be like from the phrase 'teen horror'. I suspect anyone of my vintage (i.e. old) will be thinking of 'The Goonies' and there is a lot about this film that is Goonie-ish, but perhaps my old age leaves me thinking that surely no child would be stupid enough to investigate the scary thing they found.

Needless to say, I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have, although the 3D did add something to it. Tom on the other hand enjoyed being scared for the first time.
